If anyone tells you there is an acne cure, you can tell them that they have no idea what they are saying. The most advanced scientists will say that that couldn’t be further from the truth. So if there isn’t’ a cure, how do you acne effectively?

All you have to do is to walk down the ‘acne aisle’ in a pharmacy and you will soon know that a large percentage of the human race is suffering or has suffered with acne. There are myriads of remedies, ointments, creams and gels that all claim to be an acne cure. But is there an acne remedy that works? Is there a cure for acne? Some of them are very effective and some of them are a waste of money. So what do we know works for acne as well as being a part of a healthy lifestyle?

Our diet, meaning what we consume on a daily basis is one of the most important changes we can make to help alleviate acne and in the process feel and look better in every way. We put in our bodies substances that directly relate to acne. Our skin is an organ just like our liver, kidneys, etc. What we eat affects our organs inside of us, so why wouldn’t it affect our outer organ, our skin?

One simple change we can make as part of our acne cure is to substitute olive oil for cooking and on our salads instead of partially hydrogenated fats which actually promote inflammation. Also, cut back on red meat and substitute fish or chicken. Eat very few dairy products unless they are low fat and avoid fried foods like they are the plague.

Fast food has become a normal part of people’s diets, especially young people. This is one of the reasons that acne is now worse than it’s ever been and so many people are looking for an acne cure. Stay away from these type of restaurants and give up soda, regular or diet, all together. Along with that, eliminate sweets and be very moderate with alcohol consumption. These simple changes alone can help you get rid of acne.

Fiber rich foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables should be eaten regularly to prevent constipation. Also drinking at least four quarts a day for purified water will help with this and will also flush toxins from your body. This will greatly aid you in helping your skin condition. Also, make sure that you take nutritional supplements so that you ensure you are getting all the vitamins you should take daily. Adding a bit more vitamin A, B complex and the minerals zinc and selenium is also excellent.

Finding an acne cure is impossible. But getting acne help and finding a way to help your skin become healthy is fairly easy. Eat well, drink fluids and get enough rest and you’ll immediately see the difference in the way your skin looks and feels.
